Ailsa Craig Village Pottery is situated in the quiet community of Ailsa Craig which is nestled amongst rich rolling farmland and not far from the beautiful Ausable River. You are welcome to visit the studio to see how pottery is made.

In our studio pottery is handmade by Marilyn Barbe:  thrown on a potter's wheel, glazed and fired right in the studio.   The clay used to make the pottery is cone 6 stoneware. Marilyn believes in keeping the age old tradition of the functional potter.

If you love pottery you'll be delighted with our gallery. In it, the works of a number of potters are found. We strive to provide you with the best selection from local artisans. All hand made by potters we know personally.

Whether you're looking for a matching set of handmade mugs or a one-of-a-kind Raku vase we're sure you'll love our selection.

Located just 50 km  (30 miles) west of Stratford we're directly on you're route to the World Class Stratford Shakespeare Festival.

We're easy to find (Ailsa Craig is kinda tiny). Look for the sign on Main Street in Ailsa Craig.
