The Boat

Our boat is a 29' Luhrs Tournament and is 11'8" wide to give as smooth and comfortable a ride as possible. There are twin 350 motors to get charters out and back as fast as the seas will allow.

The boat accommodates up to 6 people. Larger groups can be handled with enough notice to reserve other boats.

Drifter II is fully equipped with all of the modern electronics. With safety first, the boat carries a VHF radio as well as a cellular phone. We have a GPS chart plotter and a backup GPS to ensure returning your group safely to the harbour.

There are 2 fish finders, as well as 2 speed indicators. Auto pilot has been installed to make steering easier. At the back of the boat there are 4 Walker downriggers. We also use planner boards, and can run up to 14 rods.

All equipment is supplied by Drifter II Charters.

The Drifter has been Transport Canada certified for safety. Because of a Transport Canada ruling we will not be departing from the dock if the seas are 4 ft or greater.
