Welcome to our "Valley of registered Haflingers". We discovered this extraordinary breed (of Austrian origin) while strolling the Avenue of Rare Breeds of the World at the Royal Winter Fair in November 1995. Ron was born and grew up on a farm where both he and his father raised and showed Belgian horses. Horses have always been an intregal part of Ron's life and have had a major influence on it.
Beginning with a handful of young horses in the spring of '96, we began preparing for the show ring. Over time we have had success with raising a few young horses of quality but mostly search for good pedigree at sales south of the border. The passion for training and showing Haflingers continues to be a strong focus in our retirement years, rewarded by good luck in competition. The majority of our horses are shown in draft harness, using cart and a wagon designed and built by Ron in the off-season. A newly built pleasure cart will be introduced to the ring in 2008.
We are located 8 miles east of Paris, at 90 Governors Rd. East (just east of the Brant Valley Golf Course). Our door is always open to anyone who shares our love and respect for this remarkable breed.
