The Grand River Slowpokes Canoe Dawdlers Association
This is a loose association of people who like to go out on the Grand or one of its tributaries, for a two or three hours of canoeing. Anybody with greater ambitions should check out the other canoeing associations.
We are a people that believes that canoeing back upstream is nutso. So we get together mostly to arrange a shuttle service.
We take our time, enjoying the scenery. We take pictures. We get our feet wet in the shallows. We find it hard to get lost, because, like, the river runs in only one direction.
