Revised version of list of topics for the June 2008 Grade 12 Biology exam.  

Students in my classes who wish to do a bonus project to replace a low mark on a quiz or homework, please complete the project in the next 2 weeks. Whether it is a model of bread mold or hydra reproducing, a human follicle, or some kind of computer graphic, etc.

Still a couple weeks to go but I want to wish all of you students out there the best of luck on your exams. I hope you can muster the last bit of strength to really study hard for exams. Whatever happens, keep your head up.

Specifically to my students, thank you for a wonderful year.

Slideshow used in class to teach Natural Selection. Includes stabilizing, disruptive, and directional selection graphs and explanation.

Drag-and-Drop Pedigree  

Yeah I know, I'm addicted to making these drag-and-drop games.

Anyhow, I have some science teachers coming to watch a lesson of mine next week and I spent the weekend creating a new pedigree resource. It's a combination of 4 problems and a quiz at the end.

I think you're going to like it but I can't officially show you until AFTER they come.

Added score keeping to MedCity Hospital: Intensive Care so now you'll now how many secrets are in each level.      

In MedCity Hospital: Intensive Care you can run around the hospital floor pushing button and finding keys to unlock the laser doors which secure your patients in their rooms.

My grade 12 biology class followed the video tutorials below and used the HTML template files I provided to create their own quizzes on hormones.

Here is the class list we made of topics potentially covered on the current electricity test.  

Drag-and-Drop Cooler Molecules is a bit different because now when you drag an atom into place to build a molecule, you will get feedback telling you if the atom is in the correct place.        

Treat your patient by administering hormone pills in this new cuecard quiz.
