The games on zeroBio are a lot like quizzes but they tend to have more graphics and something resembling a plot. I'm not a computer programmer or graphic artist so don't expect anything like Quake! Still, I hope you find something here that is fun to play and educational as well.

Many of the games include Flash animations which will likely NOT display properly on a mobile device (cell phone) so you will need to use a desktop computer to play. You'll also need a current version of the Flash player.

You'll also need to DOWNLOAD the Flash (SWF) file to your own computer and have a current version of the Flash player to PLAY the file. Instructions will be given on pages where you need to download the Flash file. Please see the About zeroBio page for more information.

Although all games have coloured grade flags to indicate the course they are recommended for, what part of the curriculum they cover isn't always stated.

	Alien Encounter You got your good aliens and you got your bad aliens. In this top-down shooter, you'll have to deal with both of 'em!

	Alien Chromosomes Find and destroy the mutated alien chromosomes before the aliens unleash their genetic experiments on the universe.

	Drag-and-Drop Pedigree Drag the symbols and genotypes to create pedigrees for human genetic traits such as tongue rolling and eye colour.

	Karyotype Drag-and-Drop Create 3 different karyotypes (chromosome pictures) and then examine them for genetic defects.

	Alien Chromosomes Top-down shooter. Aliens have been manipulating chromosomes and creating mutated creatures that threaten human existence. You need to grab those chromosomes and destroy them before a big bad mutated thing shows up at your door!
	Alien Encounter Top-down shooter. To save one good alien you'll have to wipe out a whole bunch of the bad ones. Along the way you will answer questions about the nervous system ... as if you won't be busy enough shooting stuff!
	BioLegend 1 Flash animated sci-fi game with multiple choice questions on the digestive system and some puzzles to solve. Of course there are monsters to shoot and coins to collect. You and a buddy are in for an adventure as you try to get the legendary prize.
	CyberStranded 2 - The Re-Seeding Project The second in the "CyberStranded" game series. All living things on Earth have been wiped out in a nuclear disaster and only a handful of scientists survived because they were in space at the time. With futuristic technology they will attempt to spark the evolution of new life on Earth.
	CyberStranded 4: Humanoid Experiment Picking up where "CyberStranded 2" left off, Dr. Bruce Grey and his colleagues have been captured by a deviant species called the Humanoids and subjected to experiments intended to reverse human evolution. 	tOXin A spaceship has returned to Earth following a trip to Mars and it's carrying a deadly strain of bacteria. You need to read the genetic code and determine the amino acid sequence for the lethal toxin that is being released by the bacteria. Maybe then a vaccine can be developed (see tOXin2 below). This game will require you to have some background in DNA structure, protein synthesis, and reading the genetic code. Ready to stop the outbreak?!
