This boat is very stable and an excellent starter boat for children wanting to become independent whitewater paddlers. It has a displacement hull and has excellent initial stability with a smooth transition into secondary. The bulk heads are in place so no bags are required. It is possible to have a dry storage compartment placed in front/back or both for $100 per compartment. The outfitting is optional—Mike Yee or Beluga.
