Scan #12050 - 3c QV postal stationery "Printed to Private Order" [EN501] cut down - Toronto, Ont - Sep 21 1925 - in 1895 Frederick Burnett of Brantford ordered 3000 of the 3c [ EN501 on buff paper, size 267x111 mm for his own use, initially setting them aside and using some up over time] from the P.O.D. - George A. Lowe, a Toronto stamp dealer bought the unused remainders from Burnett and used them up as postage in cut down form - this is one example of said items - $25.00 Cdn - unusual - see BNA Topics, Vol 53 No2 pg 25 -
