Scan #2655 shows two Admiral drop letter covers , both sent from Field Post Office 4X ( overseas ) , dated 6 De 1915 and 19 De 1915 . Each shows a faint red triangular Passed by Censor No. 2183 . The letters were sent by the soldier without stamps and upon arrival at the Canadian exchange office [ Hamilton ] the 2c Admiral stamps were affixed and cancelled , Dec 29 1915 and Jan 3 1916 . Since the letters were going to a Hamilton address they were treated as drop letters and the postage required was 2 cents [ 1c wartax & 1c drop letter ] - Canadian YMCA CC - Interesting pair - $26.00 Cdn for both - Photo
