Two Noble Kinsmen is a quirky and ingenious tragicomedy of misguided men and the women they lead astray in their hopeless quests for love. Their wayward journeys create a predicament that can only be resolved by the gods. Co-written by Shakespeare and John Fletcher and based on "The Knight's Tale" from Chaucer's Canterbury Tales.  Through prison and exile, artifice and escape, the two Kinsmen of the title, Arcite and Palamon, contend for the hand of fair Emilia. In the comical subplot, the lovelorn Jailer's daughter goes
mad in her search for the unattainable Palamon. A thrilling broadsword fight and an authentic Morris dance add to the excitement of this all too rarely performed classical gem. Two Noble Kinsmen is about the risk we take, it's about the choices we make, it's about all we forsake...when we do the things we do for love.
