MATTHEW CASSIDY
Smudge
Matthew is a graduate of the Sheridan College Musical Theatre Program.
Since graduation, Matthew has performed at the Huron Country Playhouse
in Bye Bye Birdie and 42nd Street as well as acted in several
independent short films with Concordia and Ryerson students. He was
in the Equity Showcase Theatre production of The Libertine and was
a "Sailor" in the Reprise Concert of Anything Goes, both taking
place in Toronto. Earlier this summer, he performed a solo concert
in his home town of Woodstock, Ontario. He would like to thank his
family, friends and "the flower lady" for all their support.
KEVIN DENNIS Jinx Last summer, Kevin began his professional career on the island in
the Confederation Centre Young Company's production of Somewhere In
The World.... When Kevin returned to Oakville, Ontario, he made
a promise to himself that he would return! This past year, Kevin
performed in two new musicals for young audiences in Toronto. He
played "Aladdin" in Solar Stage's Once Upon A Time and "Liam/Bobby
Reynolds" in the Stage Kids production of Deadline. Kevin
has also appeared in the Theatre Aquarius Performing Arts Program production
of The Who's Tommy as "Tommy", and in Evita in Hamilton,
Ontario. His TV appearances include Ready or Not, PSI Factor
and Nikita. Kevin would like to thank his family, Bruce, Rachel,
Rob and his friends for their continued support.
JONATHAN ELLUL Frankie Born and raised in London, Ontario, and trained at the University
of Windsor, Mr. Ellul's recent credits include: War Brides The
Musical, The Adventures of Doug and Al, and Nervous at the Cascade
Theatre; Dames At Sea at the Orillia Sunshine Festival; Cheatin'
Hearts at the Bluewater Summer Playhouse; Waiting For Harry
with Toronto Fringe: The Cradle Will Rock and The Bakers Wife,
both Equity Showcase productions; Me and The Boys and Our 50 at
the Toronto Summerworks Festival; and as "Joseph" in the Dora Award winning
show Something From Nothing at Cascade Theatre's International Milk
Children's Festival. Jonathan has also just completed work on a comic
series pilot named Made In Canada.
GEOFF LACNY Sparky Geoff moves from the 1998 Confederation Centre Young Company cast into the role of "Sparky" in Forever Plaid. Recent credits include Liars, and Legends of the Northern Swamp for Magnus Theatre, William and James at the Rhubarb Festival; Alice in Wonderland by Warrack Productions; You're a Good Man Charlie Brown and West Side Story at Stage Polaris; Sunrise and Spokesong with Studio Theatre; and The Aberhart Summer and The Mail Order Bride at Great West Theatre. Geoff holds a Fine Arts degree in Acting from the University of Alberta. While at University he was in Love's Labour's Lost and The Three Sisters. He is thrilled to be back on the Island! |
