proboscis may be present. Dorsal chaete bundles may be absent from segments 2, 3, 4 or 5.
NAIDIDAE

3b) Long (generally >10 mm in length), thin, brownish- coloured worms. Eyes and
proboscis absent. Dorsal shaete bundles always start on segment 2. Gills may be present
along tail segments. Very common family. TUBIFICIDAE
