I have autism and use facillitated communication. Computers are great, I know how to hope again. You need patience to communicate, try to understand me because I get nervous and I hit the wrong keys; this justifies my behaviour. I just try to be like anyone else. I get treated badly
but not by everyone, my family treats me normal. People don't understand me when I get nervous, I get upset and I just can't take it anymore. I need teachers that try to listen. I just want to have a normal life. I try to believe in myself; how you see me does not matter. I'm an individual with my own thoughts and ideas.
I have finished school now and am looking to start my own business. People do not see me as a business person. I do not have a lot of patience so the business plan takes even longer to write. This is a complicated process that seems to take forever; not easy for me. I have also started working at Adult Resource Center or ARC. This is ok but sometimes boring for me. I like the people there.
I am making this page piece by piece and will add as I can, so be patient; more to come.
