HEADGARLANDS
The Head Garland has adorned the head,
for many centuries and in many cultures. In Celtic
Mythology, the Garland represented many things: triumph for a
successful Warrior, a Crown for Royalty; a sign of Mother Earth
in Celebrations or a simple link between the townspeople and
the fruits of their labour. I have always been fascinated by
the magic and beauty of flowers. These are just a few of the
Garlands that I make for Medieval and Celtic Festivals. (Family members come in handy when you need models!)
