"NOTHING"
When Children come home at the end of the day,
The question they're asked as they scurry to play
Is "Tell me what did you do today?"
"Nothing - I did nothing today!"
Perhaps nothing means I played with blocks,
Or counted to ten using some rocks,
Maybe I painted a picture of red and blue,
Or read a story of a mouse that flew.
Maybe I watched the sparrows eat today,
Or went outside on the slide to play,
Maybe today was the very first time,
That my scissors followed a very straight line.
Maybe I led a song from beginning to end,
Or played with a special brand new friend,
When you're young and your heart has wings,
Nothing can mean so many things.

Belvoir Co-operative Nursery School has been a non-profit co-operative nursery
school since 1974, organized by families to provide their children with a
quality preschool experience. Our nursery school provides parents with the
opportunity to actively participate in their children’s first school
experience. Belvoir Co-operative Nursery School brings parents and children
together to share happy and enriching experiences. Parents and teacher(s) are
constantly learning as they work together to find better ways to achieve these
goals.
