HOW IS THE PREGNANCY RATE WITH SEXED EMBRYOS?
HOW IS THE ACCURACY?
NO FEMALE EMBRYOS ARE BEING DISCARDED.
For this test to be positive for males there must be male bovine DNA in the test vial.
However, less than 5% of the embryos diagnosed as female may be born as males because the biopsy was not detected by the enzymes used in the test.
Please let us know if you have a male calf born so that the results can be tabulated for the company providing the test kits.

THERAPEUTIC EMBRYO PROGRAM
We are now offering a new program for Veterinarians across Ontario. We are offering our sexed male embryos and beef X embryos to Veterinary clinics for repeat breeders.
If you would like this service provided by your local Veterinary clinic please tell them to give us a call.

We welcome our Veterinary associates from Eastern Ontario and Northern Ontario and their producers that are now registered with us for the Therapeutic Embryo Program.
If any of our producers that are joining our team for the first time have any questions or concerns please feel free to call our office.
ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSIS
Join our growing list of producers receiving unlimited pregnancy diagnosis and fetal sexing. This is a service we are now providing on an hourly basis so that you can get the most value from your dollar.
With both sexing of embryos and ultrasound fetal sexing, knowing the future for your herd is important to your financial basis. Both of these services gives you the ability to see into the future and calculate your success.

ROYAL WINTER FAIR BOOTH
Our booth at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in November was a great success thanks mostly to our Marketing Director Ruby McDougall who manned our booth hour in and hour out.
Since then we have had visitors from the UK, Finland, USA, China and Holland.
Dr. Hill has also been asked to speak at meetings such as for the Rare Breeds Assoc., Ridgetown College, 4H …
Also Dr. Hill will be speaking at the American Bovine Practitioners Conference and American Embryo Transfer Conference in the fall.

EMBRYO MARKETING
We will now be offering free of charge inclusion of your embryos for sale in our Embryo Guide and on our web site. We also will have advertising space in as many areas as we can in order to sell the embryos that our producers have to offer for sale.
We will be providing embryo sale sheets to you to make it easier to keep information up to date at our office. Please fill the sheet out and return it to our office at your earliest convenience so that we can provide up to date information on your cows that are open and ready to flush or embryos that you have for sale.
SEXED OR UNSEXED EMBRYOS FOR SALE
Did your flush not produce any viable embryos and you do not have any in storage for your synchronized heifers?
What happens if all of your embryos are sexed and all or most were bulls and you have synchronized heifers to spare?
We now have unsexed embryos or sexed female embryos available for your use.
If either of these scenarios happens to you we now have available unsexed embryos or sexed female embryos for purchase so that you no longer have to waste using your synchronized heifers.
