grace and folly | |||||||||
| this series took me about 6 years to complete. begun in 1998, i came back to it in 2003 to complete it for the visual fringe exhibition. the 'folly' figure is the 'enigma' figure reworked, and 'grace' is a figure i doodled once, who decided to be something larger. the series is about relationships, but also about the internal parts of ourselves which we 'divorce' from each other, and their struggle to reunite. | ||||||||||
