     It took me about three years to do a good job developing and finally testing these - and they work well!  Of course, there must be fish in the vicinity - but most time fish will move around throughout the day, and once they see these, and they're designed to be seen at a good distance away - they draw fish!  This concept is brand new - I've never heard or seen anything like it anywhere!  I've used 'em on crappie, 'gills, speckled, rainbow and lake trout, as well as really 'spanked' the 'gills, perch and pike!

     Nope, sorry - no picture - I don't wanna show them to my 'copycat competitors'!  What I will tell you 'online' is that they are easy to use, and the more you use and develop the 'feeding flash' technique - the better they'll work for you.  I like to use them, stack up the fish, then settle down and catch them using another (my favorite) ice fishing rod.   The 'quick-fix directions are on each package - but the ardent and 'pros' among you especially, would be wise to go the extra mile and also purchase my short write-up on how to develop the feeding flash, and my 'findings' on how to effectively use them, during my R&D & testing.  These are NEW - and a NEW CONCEPT researched and developed by me - and NOT available anywhere else!  As time goes by, there's no doubt in my mind that others will use them in new even more effective ways.  If you want to try this new concept - and learn, then take them further than even I have done - order one - and start practicing - and catching fish!  There are hooked and hookless models.

     In some areas fishers are restricted to the type and quantity of rods they use, and I personally use the 'Flash Attractor' on a second rod - then once the fish have moved in good and thick - fish 'em with my usual favored Ice Fishing Rod with my favored ice fishing jigs, using this to simply 'draw in, and stack up' the fish!  These like the rest of my unique lures found on this page are hand made by myself and a helper - to ensure quality.  They are very reasonably priced considering my time/material to make 'em - and not figuring in one dime for my time/money invested in the R&D!

These Minnow Flash Attractors will last for years/years, especially the basic one's with no hooks as all they are doing is drawing in/decoying the fish. The models that utilize hooks and actually take fish will still last for years - but not as long as the hookless versions - unless a large fish breaks your line, of course - which does happen!

     A few words on the 'glow black series' featured only here - this concept is one one that Vance did the R&D on over eight years - and it works. The glow on black is tested on many waters and is very effective; to the point that very few other colors are even needed.  The principle is a simple, and uses three significant concepts that will put fish on the ice for you - and it works for almost all fish we as fishers fish for!

     ALL THESE JIGS ARE MADE WITH LEAD, SAD TO SAY! ONCE SUITABLE SUBSTITUTES BECOME AVAILABLE - WE'LL CARRY THEM - BUT SO FAR WE HAVEN'T FOUND ANYTHING THAT ISN'T INFERIOR. Too, and in defense of these jigs - they are all painted and have a tough outer clear coat - so lead won't come through unless the coating is removed!

     Come on fellas - be reasonable!  After one of these jigs has caught you a couple hundred fish - it doesn't owe ya anything! Once the paint wears off 'em - retire 'em - put 'em up on a picture frame - and hope someone asks about it - so ya can tell em! This is the very same one that I offer as a simple and unpainted blank (see below) as an economical source for those that wish to try their own skills at painting them up.  It is a simple jig, patterned after a dace minnow and now available in painted for those who just don't have the expertise - or patience.  The smaller sizes, primarily for 'gill fishers and slightly larger for the crappie fisher and perch fisher, all have the exclusive, GLOW daphne dot, strategically located to offer the most appeal for most of these pan fish - and speckled trout!  The sizes of 12 through 8 have the 'dot' and in the full range of colors that offer your best presentation capabilities - for even the slow times!  GLOW ON BLACK (the very best/productive color that I've found, especially for ice fishing), chartreuse, crappie pink (my own color)and also bottom blood worm - another color I've developed over the years that take fish consistently.

     Bronze hook and great for 'especially 'gills', perch and tough goin' crappie! I haven't tried 'em on specks yet, but no doubt the glow on black would be great! The 'glow on black' is what I prefer for 'gills and crappie, on the 'overall' - the 'eye' color is primarily for perch, as I've found when testing! In ALL cases, I've found this little jig - as all the jigs here - most effective when used with a SMALL piece of live bait - maggots, and my 'most favored' live bait as suggested in my Ice Fishing and Crappie books,  or a wax worm or very small minnow! Of course, you may have some special 'live bait' preference of your own that you like and can get yourself or from a bait shop. I ALWAYS sharpen hooks before use - even brand new jigs - past needle sharp is always best!
