Bob | Okay, good day, and welcome to the Hoser. |
---|---|
Doug | Good day, eh? |
Bob | Okay, today's topic is winter in Canada, eh? |
Doug | Yeah. It's cold, and dark, and there's not a lot to do. |
Bob | Um... yeah... |
Doug | You wanted to say something, hoser? |
Bob | Uh, not really. You said it all, eh? It's cold and dark, and there's not a lot to do. |
Doug | Oh, geez. Then I guess we're done, then. |
Bob | Yeah. |
Doug | Geez. I say two words, and we're done for the month. |
Bob | Yeah, but it's a short month. |
Doug | Oh, okay! I've got a new topic. Leap years. |
Bob | Okay, good idea. Okay. Leap years. Um... What about leap years, hosehead? |
Doug | Um... Okay. Every four years we add an extra day to February, right? But why? Why don't we add the extra day to August, or something, to make summers seem longer. |
Bob | Yeah, good idea, eh? We can add an extra day in May, so May two-four can become May four-eight, and we can drink twice as many beers! |
Doug | Oh, geez, that's a good idea, eh? |
Bob | Okay. But like, this year's not a leap year. |
Doug | Well, then I'll have a "leap beer". |
Bob | Oh! Leap beer, eh? Well, you already had all the back bacon, so I'm taking all the beer. |
Doug | Yeah, well, take off, eh? |
Good day, eh? This article's been here for a while, but we'll leave it up until we have more of it done, eh? It took a year, but we've finally finished writing the script for our new movie, eh? Read the article that appeared in the Toronto Sun (and on alt.tv.sctv).
